My big Clown has kept his pattern as he grew, so I reckon if you get a small one with unusual patterns, it should stay that way....

We get 'broken-bar' or 'saddle-back' Clown Loaches in all the time at my work.. I was seriously considering investing in a large group to grow them out and hopefully breed them in a billion years.. Would be cool to have a breeding group of saddle-back clown loaches, so all the fry were similiar!

This is my idea as well. I collected a bunch of cl's about 6 months ago and hopefully can start doing this in about 5 to 10 years or so. I have several spot cl, I am hoping will work for breeding.

Breeding in captivity is all but impossible. Searching for info myself I could only find one story about it and it was said to be many years ago.

That's all I have been able to find, is probably the same story. I figured I would just try it out and see what happens. It just sucks that I am going to have to wait for 8+ years before I get any results.
