build or buy...that is the ?

thx for all the encouragement MFK! the build is definatly a GO. now the R&D stage begins!!!! if there are any tips or info think i should know feel free to post, my ear is always open to wisdom.
 
A tip is easy, for a 180 it wont take much wood. 2x4 running on the top and bottom if your putting in a window some verticals in the corner

Personally I would buy a pre-made one at those at that size. But since your deciding to build one I highly suggest to spend a hell of a lot of time on the research and design and make sure you build it and it looks just the way you want it to. The best advice I can give you is don't skimp on anything. When your building a container to hold water and house fish everything is just as vitally important as everything else.

Not yet...But you reminded me that i need to get it done lol. I'll post more pics when i finally get back to it.
 
For a 180, I would probably just buy one.
