I'm really excited to see how this works out! I'm hoping for the best.

Wow cool hope all goes well. Also I miss my huge three acre ponds I used to have the fun

lol, you havent seen it yet?, sorry guys but no new info, its either too hot to be working or raining, thats canada for you... I realy wigh i can get this to go along faster but i cant realy work with no shade in 45*C heat, in th last couple of days there has been a break but my brother and i tackeled out dads pickup and installed a trailer hitch, them we worked on the shed...

For the filter box i was thinking of discising it as a spilling over well type look???, what do you guys think, this is to scale BTW... the brown stuff is the grade and the filter box is made from 10" cinder blocks... posts are cedar 4X4's

the round tubes are the two 3" pipes that feed the filter box. its like a huge canister filter with no top.

Me and my buddy have done a pond before just not that big lol

Is it already plumbed? Just wondering, because if you could plumb it from the bottom it would allow the water to run over more surface area in the filter media. Also, if you add another corse of block to the front of the box it will make a taller first "falls" down the slope, making it louder and more areation. It looks like it will be more of a stream than waterfall into the pond, quite randy looking, and well thought out.
