where is your sump in relation to the tank? I wanna see a shot of the whole room when youre done...I'm designing my dream home now and I want to see how a DIY tank might look from a further view :D

correct me if i'm wrong. if youre facing the tank the sump is in a seperate room to the right of the tank. if you look at the pictures you can tell from where the plumbing is located.

That is the biggest sump i've ever heard or seen of, but then again, I don't talk about sumps much. I'm a lazy canister filter man lol.

Hi, Are you gonna add more sand? Maybe its just me but the blue patches seem to give a sense of unfinishness. Still looks extremely cool though.

I have to agree with you.

very very awesome!!!
i could only imagine how much that cost, lol

is this something you've always wanted!!??? :)

Todays updates..

New sump is almost ready. One more day to cure and it can be filled.

Tank is filling now to test the leak point.

Entire thing should be back up and running tomorrow after I get off work.

No this isn't something I've always wanted, just something I wanted to do now. I just kept getting bigger and bigger tanks and figured why not just have one giant tank. :)

Too bad there won't be any true monsters in it like pbass, monster catfish, or arowanas... The things I would do with a tank like that...:cry::cry:
