Building a 1500 Gallon plywood & glass tank

Not messy at all, in fact they usually grabs his food and hides in the corner with it and gulps it down in 2-3 bites.

Feeding him, pellets, algae wafers (Very few a week), Kiwi, grapes, other mellons, and apples (He just started on those).

Very cool aquatic only turtle.
 
Wow. Cool picture. I've never been into turtles before but now I kind of am after seeing that guy.

Yeah I agree they are very cool! I just saw a couple of these at the Phoenix Aquarium. Awesome. Wife unit had to drag me away from the tank! Thanks for the PIC
 
How'd you get your wife (assuming your married) to agree to this? I've mentioned building a 1,000 gallon tank & my wife gives me the "Ya, right!" look.

I guess I'll have to wait until I have a bigger house with a basement.

I am looking forward to how this progresses. I'll be interested in the design for a future project. Ya, the wife will be in for a surprise.

She encouraged it.. Guess I got lucky and ended up with a great wife. :)

Now if I can jet get her to let me have a girl friend.. :headbang2
