An island somewhere......
I've had an urge lately to build a large holding bin to house all my misc. fish to clear out all my large 125g. glass tanks from my spare bedroom/fishroom. I've sold 3 of the 4, 200 pound glass tanks (the last one will be sold this next week) and have decided to switch to acrylic tanks. I had and idea in my head and decided to head to Home Depot to pick up some lumber. I ordered a 20 mil. PVC liner on Ebay so it was time to get started. I took some pictures of the progress..... it was suppose to be 8'x4'x3' but ended up just shy of that (need to take the inside dimensions later). Tell me what you think.

My assistant wasn't really up for working today!

looks good but i would put a double top and bottom plate (aka extra 2x4 top and bottom)
to overlap the corners

There will be a top plate after the liner has been laid. I don't think "log-cabin" will be necessary, this will only hold 24" of water so there isn't as much pressure as oppose to 36"+. The exterior of the bin will have plywood for shear strength. The corners have about 8 - 4" screws staggered and in opposing sides. The bottom is also plywood secured to the bottom sill...... very, very secure. Thanks for the suggestions though.
