Damn Sean!
Can't wait to dee the finished product.

Me neither! If I can get a day off work to put it all together that would be great! So, here's the stopping point for a couple of more days..... starting to look like something now! :headbang2

You could turn that into a tank (i.e. with a window) if you lined it with Hardiboard and drylok'd the inside.

thats waterproof and fish safe dogofwar?

1)How do you glue the hardybacker to the plywood? Liquid nails?

2)How do you seal the seams of the hardybackerboard? After the drylok is painted on or before?

3)Type of Brand of Hardybacker? will any do?

materials lol

Kind of lost count so far...... probably close to $200 w/ liner. (not quite done yet either) It'll probably be up for sale in a month for anyone interested. :grinno:

A couple more angles of the progress.... (you can see another tank stand in the background of the second picture that I'm building for a 240 acrylic. It's not quite done but close. It's bamboo thatching trimmed out..... to fit the "beach house" decor.)
