had to rough up the inside of tank for the silicone to stick sanded with 220 grit and then sanded the sides of glass , and get some of my trashy stuff to brace and weight the glass down... , i got the tank on its side face down ,so the big piece is on the bottom , and only have to really brace up the side piece
well now have to wait about a week to let it silicone dry , have to say after few hours i wanted to flipp it and run to the water hose lol , but im waiting , the tank is face down with the coolers with water in it just to add some weight and brace up the side piece
Def. digg the red tank and the death theme I have a red 90gallon, really throws some nice colors on the fish. Did you just use reg. latex paint before the clear epoxy? If so does this effect the strength of the epoxy to wood bond?
You can run those overflows to the outside of the tank if you want. Maybe set up two of them like the picture I attached and keep the other two the same. That way you can skim the surface water with your two and also clean the bottom of the tank with the two in the drawing.
