that is one massive glass tank.... how long you need to wait before fillingup with water?

1 week until I can move it and 2 weeks before I can fill.

So 3 weeks in total.

Thanks Hasi....you will have to make a trip over here someday ;)

congrats steve. Nice job. Looks very professional. What did it cost u to build?

I forget the total weight..but the base alone weighs 100kg.

The siliconed it very easily... Most joints are covered with extra bracing so it hides that anyway.

This tank alone cost me $1000 AUS. I owe these guys a lot...

Thanks Zach :) I've wanted this tank for the past year...i'm going to kick it off with cichla and datnoids...probably some lates too.

Yeah I know :(

But my tank builders have special suction caps that can handle 250kg each....this makes it a lot easier to grip the tank.

Thankgod I don't have to move it far...

What would you guys suggest for filtration?

My wet/dry is an 85 gallon but i'm not sure if that will be enough.

Can you help me out here Joey?

you could stick on 2 ocean clear pressurize canisters with a 25 micron cartridges and a pentair aquatics FB 900 filter instaleld after the canister.

if you can get that in aus that will do nicely :naughty:
