What would you guys suggest for filtration?

My wet/dry is an 85 gallon but i'm not sure if that will be enough.

Can you help me out here Joey?

Your tank is the same dimension as mine.

Here's a link of what my plumbing looks like.

I would go with at least a 125+ for the sump. As for pumps I suggest Dolphin Amp Master 3000's. My air pumps are louder than the water pumps..LOL

I'm a big fan of also incorporating bead filters. Since we keep monster fish's that produce alot of waste, these bead filters are made for heavy bioloads. These are also pre-seeded w/bio.

I have the Ultima II which I am very satisfied.

Just pm me if you have any specific questions.

Just remember...it's better to do the filteration right the first time w/QUALITY equipment than to take the cheap route.

VERY Nice mate, Congrats!

I'd say that tank(dry) would weigh around 480Kg(1060lb), The 8x3x3 i was looking at was around 380kg...

Are you interested in rays? ;)

Congrats on the new tank. My 750 with 1" acrylic weighed empty 960lbs! It took 8 guys to lift it up 3 feet and we struggled. I am guessing with your's being glass that it's over 1000lbs. Make sure you have plenty of extra help when moving that beast and keep us updated on the progress.

I'm not going away for college :)

Thanks Dixon, Rick, Jey and all others

That's one huge tank. but if you wanna have a community tank, I would suggest a goot 2.5 footer and above height for the tank. It'll look been better.:)

I know...but the glass has to be thicker...then the price is 10x more :(
