Thanks guys. I'll get some updated pics when the weather breaks. I am pretty sad the season is winding down and the water is cooling already. Over the past few weeks I selected several small koi around 2" that I am raising in an indoor tank and will add in the spring. I have have also been working on staining/sealing the deck and added a 55w UV.
All the pups are gone now which is a bit sad, but also a relief. 10 Jack Russells were a handful. I have plans this winter to add a 10x16 pergola over the lower section of the deck, and depending on how it turns out may build one over the pond as well. I am also hoping to retro the BD for air as well as add it to each of the barrels, and add an external pump.
Also, I had mentioned a DIY water garden contest our local newspaper holds annually. I didn't win, and am waiting anxiously to find out who did.
Here is the one that won last year:

They stated "Regarding the fish pond, David advised that the biggest challenge was installing the UV light."
For me the UV light was last, took about 10 minutes, and I wouldn't even it consider part of a DIY. Oh well, maybe next year.
