It's annoying but this happens unfortunately, your all set to start and then something happens and you can't. I've had all the material for the roof of the filter system sat in the conservatory for the past 3 days, it's not even a big job but it hasn't stopped raining.:irked:

I got 20 hrs of driving before I get back to working on this project. looking forward to getting it done though.
Sounds like something Zen would do;)

Enjoy the trip

ok so since I last posted on this I have put on over 5000 Miles and had little time to rest. I started work kinda for a old friend of mine. got the Job through his sister who I went to school with and we have been really close friends for over 18 years. not to often you meet friends that good. Anyways none of you care about that stuff you want to here about the Project. well this week we had a few days off (that I didn't want after being out of work for 5 months) so I got started on the this project finally. on monday and tuesday I dug the hole. I might not have done this project if I had known I would spend more time with a pick axe then with a shovel. After removing 8 large boulders and a ton of smaller rocks I got the hole dug. (I will post picks after this post. today I went and got all the used carpet I could find and lined the pond with it 2 layers thick and purchased and installed the liner. then added another layer of carpet on top of it. then I picked up 20 10ft joints of 4" pvc sewer pipe (new of course) and cut it into smaller pieces to fill the hole. this is done to add water volume to the pond as gravel doesn't leave alot of room if its filled. I installed the Pump vault and filled the pond with water. I'm gonna leave it full for a day or 2 to make sure everything is well situated.

Congrats on the job, looking forward to the pics
