You mean like this? Here is todays progress. As of today we are over budget and the decorative rock is not yet in. :irked: the places I have been dealing with have been great. there is a Koi place across the road from here that has given alot of super advice. They have also given a few very helpful hints on moving the big rocks alone. you will see how I do that Tomorrow if Job A doesn't call. the ground here is brutal the house is built into the mountain and as such it is solid rock underneath. they litterally blast out the rock so you could build a basement. across the street there are boulders that have been blast out that are over 8ft across. tomorrow I plan to run all the hose for the waterfall and install the Manifold I built today. the manifold was the budget buster as its all 1-1/2" I will do a cost breakdown when I am finished. several stores in town have given me discounts which has been great. I also saved on the drain rock and was charged $20/Yard (normal is $35/Yard) I will be busy all weekend taking a realestate investment course and I'm going to my Cousins Grad on Sunday after the course then next week is still totally up in the air. I may be putting on a couple thousand more miles next week depending on what happens.

IC IC, looks a lot better and progress is good. Nice to see your making friends with the local dealers, this was essential in the end with the pond, so many bits and pieces for free.

I was waiting for you to chime in Bass. well Job A didn't call again today so I'm back on the pond. I'm so glad I got the hole filled it poured rain last night all night. everything is soaked and thankfully I don't have to do any more dirt work. thank God. today I will be running the piping from the pump to the manifold and out to its basic destination then starting to move the large stones. TTYL I'm not getting it done being on here

ok so plans changed today instead of runnign the piping for the pump I started moving rocks. I forgot a fitting and didn't feel like running down for 1 piece. well I moved a couple tons of rock into place it didn't quite go as planned but I think it looks good. so does MOM which is a good thing she's the one paying the bill. the hoses are run to 2 of the cored stones and I used up 3 cans of foam filling gaps so the water won't just disappear behind the scenes. got some flack from the step dad but thats normal. it didn't turn out as originally planned but with the stones he got for me to work with it was impossible to do the look we originally wanted. we did add a little stream to it which I hope turns out good. well here are the pics let me know what you think.

oh I know its the weeknd now but I likely won't have any time to work on this until next week but we will see. rough day though today I lost both my Paroon Emperor Sharks this AM they had a film on them and it looked bad yesterday. I treated them and both looked better when I got up then I went to check on them an hr later and they where both dead. made for a bad start to the day. those where my babys. they would eat live food right out of my hand. this move has not been kind to my Fish.

Bummer about the fish... The pondless... errr... pondish water feature looks good though... Personally I would have went the extra mile since you changed it to have a small "stream" and just had the pond... would have looked kickass in that spot IMO

I would have loved to do a pond and stocked it but it wasn't my call. I did manage to talkmom into the "stream" thats a stretch to call it that though. only about 1/4 of the water will end up going through it. basically I put a piece of leftover liner under the one side and sloped it towards the Vault. the only reason I got it is I convinced mom water hitting water would sound better lol. it is a mild grade on it but I hope it will work well. Her Hubby seams to want a hole different design but I'm not starting over and hunting for hundreds of small flat rocks to use because he doesn't want to buy them from a landscaping store.

Sorry for the loss Green, It looks good but I agree with Bass, it could have been better with a pond but like you said, it's not your call.

Good work
