No kidding, we cant even get an AC110 for under $150. Nuff said.

Lolz not even to talk about freshwater stingrays $1000 for sure
when i holland could get this for $80 but can't ship them here

And having a crocodill here u need a wildlife licence and enough space
in holland i could buy a kayman for $200 almost did but then my mum was in hospital so i got back and staying here now to

ps the epileteshark was $195 and around 1/2 ft looks nice tho :nilly:

Well - the Cortez ray may be kind of hard for you to get - since they come from Mexico (gulf of California/Sea of Cortez).

As for the Coral & Australian Marbled (Atelomycterus sp.) Cats - Definitely tropical. Native to tidal pools of Northern Australia & the Indonesia. Are known to tolerate water temps in near 90F. Generally recommended water temps of about 72-84F long term.

The Eppies are also a very nice - tropical species - but will eventually out grow your pond.

Will have have a look if i can get these to here i wonder if it's even possible casue i couldn't import any stingrays here maybe retailers can
gonna check this out to soon

YEah most likely will take those and wait with pjs till i build the bigger pond cause they didn't have them in stock neither and wondering if they still able to get as the other dude on forum said he couldn't find many of them

Yeah the size he was now is already to bigger for the 58cm width could be at the 86cm but that one was around 50/60 cm rough estimate

Got enough time cause was thinking of getting it when i get back from few weeks in brisbane cause last time i let someone else watch after my marine aquarium eveything dies :irked: never doing that again

Gonna look this xmas how to seal it and check the high build paint over the concrete and let it dry when i go to brisbane
or just go for pond liner as this is quiker to and looked good on that other sharkpond on here so go futher after xmas and in mean while cheking options

If it was your pond How would u seal it keep in Mind i'm In Australia,Perth
and untill now i haven't gotten any marine epoxy paint maybe try paint shop for high build paint to but gonna surf internet for more ideas and how others have done it THANKS TO ALL THE PPL THAT HELPED OUT A BIT
more photo's will come wanne finish it as soon as possible

going to wash tattoo and cream it now be back later to look at other saltwater ponds ect :nilly:

Since when do they ship exotics over to Perth? I've only ever seen 2 PJ's in home aquaria. One 20 mins near me and another in Eastern Tasmania.

Since when are PJs exotic? Or you mean exotic to WA? Here in NSW you can get PJs roughly 7" for $60 and when its the right season most shops (unfortunately) have 5-10 of them. Eppies and bamboos are fairly common around 100-150.

Yeah think it's about the seasons to mm wondering if u can ship them from nsw to perth? next time i ask if they still can get them first finish the pond :nilly: yeah this eppie was really big so 195 wasn't that much
have to check this week for some pondliner myself and go on futher :nilly:

Hi i wanne use this tank full with live rock
maybe a nemo of some seahorses and cleaner and snails
i wanne connect the shark pond to this for as a filter would this be a good or bad idea?

added some pics what i took this moning added more dead rock i had my dad showed me were it was so kinda blurry again
1st pic is from yesterday 2nd from this morning 3th off the pondliner i got for free and got some carpet to clue against wall and then pondliner against it

and yeah just nomal lights atm need to look for some halide lights most likely?

and saltwater level is above 1.20 it's around 1.25.130 is this bad for live rock or? :nilly:

PS My mum given me 2 rolls of pond liner one looks thick enough have a look if it's the right size for my pond other looks a bit to thin

Any ideas for corners?
would cutting and clueing them together be a good idea?
cause there could always be a bit what isn't good and leak
or are there any new things to do this?

Hmmm ... I would think a Specific Gravity of 1.025 would be ok for Live rock - since it's basic the same level a normal sea water(the Pacific).

Once the pond & the tank have cycled & stablized then it would be a very good idea. The Tank with the live roock would act as a LR Sump - helping to keep your nitrate levels under control. Just make sure it's not the only filtration you have. IMO - I would have a good Protein Skimmer, as well as a Refugium and/or a Sand Filter. With an Elasmobranch system - there's no such thing as Too Much Filtration.

ps when i bough shark tank they said 1.020 would be the best for sharks is this true?

Hehehe in the last photo with pond liner are 2 proteinskimmers and got 2 smaller 1's to 1 was used in this tank before and a smaller 1 what i use somewhere else refuguim or something will see
1 for the tank big enough hehehe 500
and a bigger 1 for 1200 litre i think or more for the pond :nilly:
and yeah will be going true a big sandfilter and other filter going to filter it soon good the pond water is so clear that i can see everything :nilly:
will be so much filtering on it so if i go on holiday it keeps running even getting a seperated power thingy for when power goed out :nilly:
pond need to be cycled and running true all filters well before i buy any shark
most likely a good chiller to
or are those DIY chillers any good pipes true a fridge agoos idea?

starting at pond this week putting in carpet and pondliner to then sand and water and some barrels and filters to cycle it all or get cycled water like the tank water i got is now to has been cycled for few months years he had some fish but going to take new hobby so i got a bargain hehehe
in few days or even tomorrow maybe a damsel in it to test it :D:D:D:D

Just a suggestion. I would be a good idea to round of your corners to make for easier turning.

How did you install your closed loop bulkhead and overflow?

As far as patching the two pieces of pond liner together it is possible to use a pond liner repair kit. Personally I would not want to do any seaming but you can use seaming tape. Do a search for pond supplies and it will be easy to find.

I would not go with MH lighting for the sharks. You are better off going with T5's instead. They are far more energy efficient and will be sufficient.

the pipes wil be under a thick layer of sand over flow wil in in the corner going into a sand barrel then into liverock tank then back in other filtrations barrel then true sump into waterfall pipes and some skimmers hard to explain this all in my head how i'm doing this atm

was thinking to shave the sharp corners a bit round
and the carpet will be making it less to :nilly:
yeah will be light like those above the sharkpond only strong lights for the live rocks
