ps when i bough shark tank they said 1.020 would be the best for sharks is this true?

Well - no not really. It actually depend on which species your talking about. But in general most species seem to prefer a Specific Gravity/Salinity level of about 1.021-1.025. While some species can tolerate levels below 1.018 - most need it to be higher than this level.

Just leave it at this level just need to get nitrate lower first was kinda very high doing that now also added small protein skimmer :nilly:
compared to the 2 others i still have :D

Pond will be on hold for a bit will be doing something on the shark pond edges these days and lay in some carpet so only left to do then is pond liner
i thought i had a nice roll pond liner but it was only 180cm by 160cm and i need 7m by 3 m lolz so going to save up some for that and alllot more
cause first going to brisbane then finishing tattoo :nilly:
then i will be finishing the shark pond
+ in this time i can look up more info on what sharks possible here in perth and what salinity level and heat they prefer and all so will take a few months up to a year before sharkpond is running, the fishtank will be ready sooner for some nemo's and seahorses for sure and idea's for some smaller fishes with them?

Just got some cheap pondliner $5 got 8 metre bij 3 plenty then for $120 normally elsewhere $200 and up :D will have photos soon thinking of doing this one freshwater heated and make a bigger 1 straight away for sharks as i do nite shifts now and earn more lolz

As people have said the pond would be too small to house something for probably longer than 6 moths to a year. So you need to come up with a plan for a new one. Keep in mind sharks can be very difficult to care for too so its not for the unexperienced.
GL and keep us updated and post prices :)

yeah i know that's why i been thinking doing this one freshwater and build the bigger one straight away for the sharks so i don't have to keep moving them will take photos tomorrow as the pondliner is in his place filled with water and sand big pond filter on it with uv but gotta work tonite there are some livefeeder fish in already now wanne get some predators fish to for them :D
