building a tank for aquascape

lol dont worry about that. i had a very long hard think before i started this build. just watch and learn...;)

not really. over the years i have worked as a boat builder. i worked for a place called aquastar building boats that cost millions. the way i looked at it is. if gel coat keeps these boats water proof as they sale around the world .it should have know problem keeping the water in my tank.

I know you were thinking of smaller fish but this tank would be awesome for some peacock bass

I wouldn't call them schooling fish but they definitely hang out together, pack hunters are more like it lol

i have bin trying to get peacock bass but cant seem to get them where i come from. there will be some big fish in this tank just not sure what yet. my rtcxtsn is not far from 3ft he has a load of red eye tetra in with him that he never even looks at as i think they are to small.

Nice! I have a tsn in with my bass and am hoping to build one of these tanks in a year or two to accommodate him as he grows, that being said where are you located? A vendor on here snook 21 is who I get all my pbass from and I believe he ships internationally as well. Also always has great prices and a great guy to deal with. If I was doing an amazon theme tank though pbass would be my first thought, whatever route you choose congrats on an awesome build so far and looking forward to future progress.

I know this is mfk but I also have to admit I always thought a giant school of neon Tetras would look awesome in a giant tank so even if you go super small, I for one will still be stoked!

i am in guernsey channel islands. the problem is the airport is so small they have to go to uk first as a large plane can not land on the runway
