Building more acrylic tanks

, the height has alota to do with how thin it is. It will be fine..
I hope no tank busters are going in there. When my arow or pacu get skittish, its enough to crack 3/8" lexan. Thats for sure.
This tank is a fry tank, I'm building 2 of these tanks. The second tank ( same size ). Will be divided in half, and have growouts. than the bottom tank, will have my breeders.
tank # 3 = 4 divided areas
tank # 2 = 2 divided areas
tank # 1 = 70x24x24 no divided areas.

I would recommend a 1/2" or thicker piece of drilled acrylic for the divider, to stiffen your tanks weak spot.
Its actully 3/4" acrylic that is gona be the divider ( We have about 3 good size peices of this left over I'd say 36x24 square sheets) But the place that we ordered this acrylic from, only charges us for what we order, so say we get 3 or more peices, they give us whats left after they cut it.
