bulk carbon

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I stopped using carbon in my tanks last year. The exception is when one of my fish dies or i do some major changes. If its an established tank and you do water changes you dont really need it all that much. IMO

I normally do'nt use it either, but I'm trying to remove excess tannins from large peices of driftwood.
Guinness

Purigen will do the job better and its rechargeable.

I think filter floss is better than carbon. Also can someone (hijack) explain the advantages of carbon?

CARBON REMOVES ORGANIC COMPOUNDS AND CHLORINE FROM THE WATER.
