Bull Sharks.

One of the most interesting things that you have to see at the Dallas World Aquarium is the big walk through fish tank with a 22,000 gallon tunnel. It is located at level one of the aquarium. Bull sharks and brown sharks are seen swimming around

they have about 30 sharks in that tank too.

I do remember watching a show where they found a 4-7 week old bull shark in a river in Africa or Australia also they found a old news article that talked about how when a flood hit some where in Africa i think, the water went over the top of a dam/lock and the workers there saw dozens of sharks come over with the water, and if I remember there wasn't a way in or out of the area since the lock/dam was built. Also they found a horse that had been "attacked" by a shark according to the owner and when the consulted a shark expert he said it was most likely a bull shark and not a croc or anything known of.

But I really don't know or guarantee that this is accurate info.

That cute baby shark can go for upwards of 10 grand. Not many people are lining up to spend that. There was a guy on here selling one last month for $8000. I am pretty sure that the 54" law goes for all large costal sharks. Such as hammers, bulls, and lemons.

AWESOMENESS!!! Can't wait for the pictures! SO COOL! So where is this bull shark keeper :[

OOOOO.... Well I'm clearly wrong about people buying sharks all the time then lol.

Yea i don't think a lot of people "know" about this 54'' law

I don't understand how a bull needs 50k gallons. When the "experts" at Dallas World Aquarium have over 20 sharks and 10 eagle rays 2 saw sharks and a giant grouper all in a 22000g tank

Not that i am saying your wrong, i fully agree their tank looks so crowded, but how do they legally get away with this?

I was told that the OK aquarium has a pretty cool shark tank too. Not to go off topic but one shark that would be a dream come true for me to keep is a silky shark. That has to be one of my favorites.

Are you sure its 22000gal and not 220,000 gal? from what I have been told there is a lot of exceptions for aquariums for collecting sharks and rays. Just look at how many have sand bars and sand tigers but private people cant get them. Also that 54" thing just happened this year I think.

yea the shark tank is only 22k, and boy they have atleast 1-2 10ft sharks, another 1-2 8ft , then 5-6 6ft sharks and many just a bit smaller
