Bull vs Lion in a caged fight

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
A single lion has no chance with a bull, which is 3 to 4 times heavier. In the wild, lion attempt to hunt bull only in a group. In some Chinese zoo, live stock are fed to big cats routinely. In one incident I read, a horse intended for prey kicked a tiger to death.

I would prefer it to scenes of them attacking people though.
Let's be honest though, do you really think animals in movies do anything for wild animals unless in some way that will pull the heart strings of millions of people? The movie animals are no different than the ones being kept in someone's backyard shed. They won't ever be part of an accredited zoo ssp or most likely know anything except for having to do something to avoid punishment. They are often portrayed as nothing more than an aggressive pack of dogs that threatened a toddler.

IMO the movies showing the fights are better than showing attacks on humans because they show and teach people about the true power of these animals.

I'm not really sure what you're goin on about

in that old tarzan movie ballin linked, they wouldn't be able to get away with that these days. You can't just put a live bear in a cage with a live tiger and watch them fight, whether it was in a movie or in a circus or in some arena somewhere.

what does that have to do with showing animals attack people? i'm just saying I don't prefer to watch animals being pitted together to see them fight for the purpose of entertaining us

they don't attempt ONLY in groups. they can and do attempt it alone or in a pair. last night going through videos to post here, I saw a video of two male lions killing a cape buffalo.

and in one of the videos I provided, I noted that it showed a single male lion attempting to go for a cape buffalo by himself. whether they succeed or not is another thing but the fact is that they do make an attempt

I don't either. Probably the true value of what the animals provide in today's society.
Here is an interesting study that was on your side- http://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0101917

Lol yeah that clip was just camera rolling from an old Tarzan movie. The old fashion way instead of CGI. Pretty cool to see. That bull was dishing it out but that lion was taking it. I got mad respect for that lion
