New Project Weeksii, got back September at around 7", pushing 10 now.
My hardest fish to get pictures of are my laps. The first one (drab green) I refer to as the sibling of my big weeksii as I got him on the the same order I placed with Canadian aquatics. The second one was a rare find at the lfs
The drab green one is long and slender at around 19" the second is shorter but thicker around 17-18"
Nice to see an update from you bro! I have always loved your set ups and this hardcape is really awesome for the bichirs.
Can you give me some info about your lighting and how you're able to get those amazon swords growing? I want something similar in my tank but when I tried it back in 2009 the bichirs just destroyed most of the plants.
Going to go with 6'x2.5'x2'?Thanks Serg, it has been awhile. Plant wise truth be told I struggle but am persistent. The swords in the tank now are the only plants that I can't seem to kill. I use a single t 5 bulb with 3 hours on in the morning and 4 in the evening. Any more than that and I get to much algae on my anubias
I am holding off adding more plants as I am expecting to final upgrade into the 200 gallon range this spring. I like the foot print of your tank and will likely go with something in that range
Of course bigger tank means..........more bichirs!
Going to go with 6'x2.5'x2'?![]()
