good idea, but i would stick to an albino Burmese instead of the anaconda. And definitely throw in some turtles there aswell :D

Id say go for it, but I dont think you could make a living out of it, I personally would add a bearded dragon to the list.
Bearded dragon is a good idea, especially since i have access to free rescue ones

make it a hobby, not a career.
That was my intention. :]

I could add a burm to the list, but thought it would be cool for a service to say they would bring out a real anaconda....
Not a touching animal though.

I'm kinda liking the thought of a caiman lizard..or a sailfin dragon

ya caimens are awesome :D
i remember when i was a little kid i had a reptile person come over, and the thing i remember most is the croc that she brought. it was sweet :D

While it sounds like a great idea, I would first check into needed permits and insurance. With todays suit happy society, it may not be feasible.

As a teacher I think this is a great idea. I'd stay focused on animals the kids can touch though. Also, with probable biters, you might be able to control that animal, but controlling the kids around the animal can be tough. I did this with middleschools in the past with real basic "exotic" animals such as stink pots, corn snakes, savanah monitor... was a blast. Also, keep the collection portable. With the croc monitor, b python, ali snapper transport will be a b****.

very good point..

Considering that you're in socal, you'll have a market to work with. You also need to consider your employees that you'll be paying. Will this be a full-time gig? If so, I doubt you could sustain a business. If you have a regular job enough to support your family and the animals then you might be ok. Overall, it sounds like a half baked idea. It sounds interesting but the numbers will unfortunately not work in your favor. Business expenses can rack up pretty quickly.
