busted my new 180 gallon

alright so my wife is pretty much the best ever. i got my fathers day card today and in it was the receipt for a brand new 180 gallon aquarium from big als.. pretty badass.

i pick it up this friday. not drilled, but i have a 2217 and the fx5 should keep it nice and clean.

question though. just to rule out the possibility that the stand cracked the glass, how can i garuntee its level? this new aquarium is braced (with the little rim on the bottom) do these sit on foam?

i should clarify the existing stand is 2x2 steel square tube. i had cut the frame exactly in half in order to raise it to 30 inches from its current 20. i have on order some larger square tube that will slip over the 4 posts to be welded top and bottom to the existing frame. a qualified welder will be doing it so i have no doupts he will square it up, but i really want to make sure that this frame was not part of this glass breaking

Just put the stand on a level surface and use a leveler to check if it's level

Last I checked, you are not supposed to put foam under rimmed glass aquariums.

Plenty of debate on whether you should or not found via google.
I didn't use any on my stand, and i'm 100% sure it's not perfectly level.

I bet the wife broke it some how... Haha my guess is that there was water either under the panel of glass or water got into the tank and the heat cracked it
