Buyer Beware/Riverwonders

I recovered what I could from the owner. It was a long drawn out process. They now have voice mail on all of their 6 or so telephone lines...before they rang into fax machines....
The payment was through paypal...who always suggest that you deal with the party rather then get them involved. They will only deal with items bought using ebay...that is why paypal was invented.
In the end, I was refunded money minus some costs (shipping,box fee etc etc). The ENTIRE POINT OF THIS was to not have any other member go through this mess. The only way to make sure that happens is to have them removed from the site. I tried, it was all I could do....I still see multiple threads like this one though.....

...got infractions for it so that tells you i was not cool and collective hahaha...but you have to understand that as the owner of MFK and other well respected forums...Neoprodigy needs to strike a delicate balance between all the members....hobbyists and venders...
to do this he needs to be fair and yes with multiple complaints and citations something should be done...but it take time and neoprodigy needs to give the vender a chance to fix the problem...i'm sure there's alot of complaints but some might had been resolved without the member saying it was resolved...
soooooo let's be patience and let Uncle Li
look into it...until that is done...let's just keep all the other members informed about these bad venders so they dont' "EZ-ly" take advantage of us....

This was the same guy that i met in person re: the aimara he had for sale. When i looked at the wolf and showed him taxonomy papers on aimara. He agreed in person it was a black wolf. But he gos and turns and sells it as aimara. Scammer

... worrut got his refund later but selling clearly misclassified fish is dirty never done business with them but thank god there's tons of other venders out there who can get the same fish for a reasonable price...

I know that Neo is busy and isn't here to hold everyones hands. But I have seen enough bad things going on with RiverWonders to warrant at least a Temporary Ban as a Vendor.
