Buying a BMX bike- HELP!!!

Hey guys,

I am about to buy a BMX bike to roll around campus on, and I want to make sure I am getting a good deal. The guy was asking $200 for it, but he generously said he will do $150. I pick it up probably on wed. I have never bought a BMX bike before, and I want to know if I am getting a good deal, and if this is a good bike. This will be a birthday present for me from my gf.

The bike is a 2006 GT Compe. Here are some pictures:

What do you guys think? Worth the $150?

I think so, Check ebay to get some type of prices, but I have paid more just for a frame.

ya its a good deal i rode bmx for 8 years when i was younger but take off those horrible refectors and chain gaurd they have no place on a freestyle bike

Lol, no kidding. That's the first thing I did when I got home with my DK Fury. Looks like a good deal to me.
