I'm right on the edge about to buy one of these. I know someone that has them, I just need to stop by and see them in person before I jump. From the pic's and vid's I've seen I like 'em.

Definitely cover the top with something. I just lost my nicest looking synspilum because he jumped out.
So i basically need the 48" bar and 2 24" glass covers. Where is the average cost for the marineland bar, cheapest i found was about $130 for the 48"
If you have a deep tank do not bother!! I have been running mine a month....Not much more than a night light on my tank! The ecoxotic modules from Fosters or marinedepot are way brighter!!

I have a 30" deep tank and use a double bright. It is not nearly as bright as a single tube 48" tube. It is only 36" long. The light quality is good but not bright at all. The ecoxotic fixtures i speak of are 95. each and two would easily light a 55. You could grow plants if you wanted!Danger_Chicken;4838365;4838365 said:
