Nice video. Thanks for sharing. Is that a grammodes in there with him and the loaches? Aren't you worried about the dovii murdering them?

Tonight I'm about to do a major fish rearrangement. I'm still planning where everyone goes.

Terrific dovii....... Well worth the trade. Actually, the LFS was pretty generous IMO. A fish like that is worth whatever it takes to get!

I know you're doing a fish swap soon, but if it were me I'd definitely keep a a bunch of fish with him in an effort to keep him socialized. Make sure you don't keep anything in there "you can't lose." I think the grammodes might be seen as a competitor and might be targeted. Other unrelated fish may just be fine, but you never know.

Congratulations on that great pickup!

Gorgeous Dovii.. That LFS definitely treated you right. Those fish and $100 store credit is crazy.

Keep the pics coming and show us his pearly whites ;)

Woah! Awesome pick up.I guess you have to be a Dovii lover going by some of the comments in this thread.IMO you did alright.I would not have hesitated either.:)
Pics don't do these guys justice and going by how good he looks in these pics and vid, I can only imagine how good he looks in person. Now put him in the Dovii pic thread in the photo lounge already:D

Ya dude i would say you got the better end of the bargain, it all matters to you, its makes it better with the CLs and the $100 thought no you dont have to buy feeders for a while

One last pic to once and for all put an end to any questions why I traded.

Remember, this is his first day in the tank.

That is one beautiful fish and pic. Good luck with him and as long as your happy, that's really all that matters.

Oh yeah, please no more pics, you're killing me. I don't have any room for one of these guys and you're making it hard to resist  Nah, keep them coming!!!

Awesome man! Don't even think on the trade, its all about what you want, thats why its called a hobby!

His colors are awesome. Maybe a darker substrate would encourage even more color?
