Damn, that is a freaken nice fish. Well worth it IMO. Traded a bunch of less monster fish to get a super monster fish in one package. Less mouths to feed but even more monster than before. Great deal. How much was the dovii btw?

Wow ... am starting to see why you did it. Those I think are the most aqua/lightest blue fins I've seen on a dovii. Congrats!! And no, I haven't noticed the markings yet either. *lol*

It's hard to get a good pic of him he' being shy and won't come to the front of the tank. He was really outgoing at the store. When he settles in, I'll get some good pics of him and all you naysayers will change your mind lol.

the 3 cichlids you are trading i like better then dovii, and i agree, you are trading away more money then the dovii is worth. hes a damn great looking dovii male, but honestly it wasnt worth it in my opinion.

Do you realize he also got 100.00 of store credit?
the way i see it is a lyonsi is worth about 30-40 at the size he got rid of his.
An argentea about 40.00
A carpintis about 30.00.
SD's probably 30-40 bucks for all of them.
Thats about 100-120 bucks worth of fish.

he got a 12" dovii which is worth from 80-100.00 (or more) + 100.00 worth of credit and some loaches etc.

I think he got a damn good deal.

This lfs is high priced. They had a tank of 3" redhook SD's for $29.99 each and people will pay it. Mine were almost 6". All they're fish are high priced too. They'll sell each of my cichlids for at least $69.99 no prob. They still got a much better deal but that's business.
