I'll let the picture do the talking. If I could keep 2 in the 210, I would, but I can't and don't want to risk it, anyway.

Moving on up the scale huh? Where'd ya get it?! :D Very cool man!! Updated pictures?! It might work out in the 220 honestly. You just never know till you try.

Introduce them at night with ALL the lights off. The next morning, turn on the lights and observe them for as long as possible. If there is no aggression during that time, they should be alright. Normally if they are going to be hateful towards each other, its pretty much right away from the start. LoL

Just make sure you have other options open! :D

I moved up pretty quickly, lol. I found about this place through a Craigslist ad for taking unwanted fish and I talked to them about doing a trade or store credit for some of my fish. I wanted to see what they had before I lugged all my fish down there, especially since they said they couldn't give me an estimate unless I had them with me. Well, turns out they only do consignment on larger fish. I saw it and asked how much they wanted for the "Xingu" and he said it was a tapajos...didn't work, lol. He said they had an even nicer female before from the same guy. Anyway, the price was good and I couldn't resist. I didn't expect to find one so quickly.

I didn't have a place to quarantine, so I put it right in the tank after acclimation. It swam over to where the texas was guarding her eggs and it was on...mostly lip-locking. I threw a divider in to separate the cren from the others. I think it just wanted to go over to the corner and hid behind the plant because that is all it has been doing. I have removed the divider and the eggs have been eaten, so the tex has calmed down. We'll see how it goes, but I'm not sure I want two pikes in there, anyway. the tex is definitely going away tomorrow as was already planned.

He has joined all the other fish under the same piece of driftwood  and doesn't seem bothered at all when the sveni comes by. This is with flash, but here he is at about 10"

yep :D

that was with flash...you mean without? I'll try, but he doesn't like to come out from under the wood.

I had to hold the wood up w/ one hand and try to take a pic w/o flash w/ the other, so not so good, lol. He's a little darker than the bucket pic would lead you to believe.
