Yeah, gonna say either male Tapajos I or Tapajos II. haven't reallly seen too many adult male Tap II though. Very cool man! Great grab!! Gorgeous pike! I bet you is happy eh? Cool find man! Very cool! Told you they are out there!

I'll work on some better pics to tell if it's I or II, but I don't really care either way for $70. I figured after the bout w/ the Tex that it would be a terror, but it has been fine aside from nipping at the weeksii once.
They had 2 more pikes in another tank. One was a bellycrawler and the other I couldn't tell because it was hiding in a dark spot.

I got it from Aquatica, the same place that Brian just took some of his cichlids to. I was going to trade my tex, jag and sveni, but they said they would only do 30 or 60-day consignment on larger fish. This one was in a decent sized tank w/ a plec, 10" golfishand 3 5" red O's and I can't remember what, so it wouldn't be cramped. Since they won't do trades or credit on my fish, I am probably going to trade them in at SouthBroadwayTropicals for the loisellei they have. the more and more i think about this, though, the worse I feel about losing my jag.

When the pike and tex were lip-locking, I couldn't believe how much bigger the pike's mouth was, lol. Maybe, I will hang onto the sveni, but I don't want to get overstocked. Looks like I have anther monster in the making, too (possible venezuela)
Your talking about Aquatica LLC right map quest is showing 2 locations did you go to the longmont or the frederick one

they had small ones; one was a 3.5" bellycrawler and the other one I couldn't tell nor could I see it today.
I took the Texas and Sveni in today for consignment and just gave them a 3" Female JD and 3" gold gourami.
