Bye, Bye, Sveni :( :)

yeah i was getting a little confused the second time i map quested it it only showed one location

did they say what a large fish is to them my JD is 4''-5'' and the Jag is 6''-7'' so i think the Jag would qualify as large but i'm not sure about the JD

So they keep the fish and if it sells they will pay you most of it huhh and if it doesn't sell do they give it back to you or what ?

Also i hate to keep poluteing your threads with a bunch of LFS questions but did they have any other cichlids like salvini what about catfish or was it a pretty normal LFS

I'm not sure. I think the JD wouldn't be too large, but the jag would.

Yep. I guess they give it back, they certainly don't keep it.

I can't believe I actually found one. I was like "WTF?" and very disappointed when you said Xingu I as I was sure it was a tapajos

Yeah, thats why I did the ....... after the xingu I, cuz I knew it wasn't one. I misread your post though, I thought you said that they said it was a tapajos and tried selling it for too much, but you told them it was a xingu I. SO I thought YOU thought it was a xingu I.

Great job man! Definately an awesome steal!! :D Props!

so, how do you tell between I and II at this size?

Well, tapajos I will have a humeral blotch in both genders. :) Tapajos II generally lack the blotch in both genders...;)
ok, so mine appears to be a I, then.

Either way, that's a great looking creni!

Yep. Thanks.

Well, he hasn't eaten yet and he has a bump and some scales off of his head. He did go after a piece of shrimp tonight, but didn't take it. It's also possible that it's been eating the sinking pellets after I leave. It's not HITH, is it? I haven't had a fish with it before or seen one in person with it. I think it's just from the scrap w/ the Texas or with some of the other fish. I am going to get another piece of driftwood on Sunday so there is another place for them to hide since they all go under the same piece. I may put a PVC cave in the tank just for another hiding spot, too. I know it's a bad pic and you probably won't be able to tell what it is, but it also shows the humeral blotch.
