Any reason why you stock tetras and barbs in the piranhas? Sounds like waste of $$$$

No problem Guys.. The catfish was just an free fish when I purchased this tank I have. I don't mind at all, it's just funny to see my gf disgusted at the sight. Im just like... Babe it was bound to happen.

Ad I mentioned before, they were DITHERS. Petco was selling 5 for $5, so I picked up around 15. They were doing fine till I removed all the dw. Maybe they were more visible to the shoal because there is nothing that blocks the top view of the tank. It's a learning process, i will probably get some more once they become bigger and slower

was not meant for a meal but you can consider it whatever you want. I spend about $3-5 for a single koi which I do consider an expensive meal (once a month).

Yeah, the seller fed the shoal only feeders and occasional chicken meat...... I was like ok but inside I was like WTF!!!!! Anyways, they love live food so I try my best to limit 1 koi per month. Other than that, I feed pellets, tilapia/cod fillets, market shrimp, and one time I fed some squid which they really enjoyed.. Is that even okay?
