Lets be real for justa second here... People feed their piranhas unhealthy **** to watch them eat it. Thats part of the allure of piranha.

You know the risks of feeding store bought live feeders. Do your thing. Just dont act all dumbfounded if something bad happens.

not sure why he has a problem with admitting that, i've posted many times including on his own thread that i feed live. def not public enemy #1 when it comes to live feeding but always the first person to receive backlash even though i've never said don't feed your fish koi.

some personalities just clash and that appears to be the case here

Well there are few good feeder fish and cheap ones too beside an expensive koi that is not good for piranhas.

that is literally my only question. why koi. not why feed live. i was told he spent 15 bucks on the last koi he bought and was curious as to why he choose koi over cheaper options. you'd think i accused him of feeding them baby fetus by the reaction i got though

My biggest issue with feeding goldfish/rosies is that theyre usually bred, rasied and kept in disgusting conditions. Think about the stress those fish are going through, and imagine how weak their immune system is because of it. The smallest introduction of parasites or disease will sweep through the entire 20 gallon tank with 100 goldfish. Now, with that said, I believe that ANY fish bred or kept in those conditions are likely to be terrible feeders. Even home bred cichlids.
