Update of my channa diplogramma that I’ve raised from a baby. Now approaching 22-24” and is thick as my arm. I am loving the deep intense blue.

What was his growth like, how old is he.

i think just around 1 year old i think.. this guy grows probably just a bit slower than a channa micropeltes. savage eater but doesnt actually show much aggression. gets punked by the red tail giant gourami all the time. however he almost ate my blackberry silver dollar when i had to throw the SD in there for a temp couple hours.. the colors didnt really show until the recent few months though so you have to be patient.

Are these not a colour variety off micropeltes then? Different Latin name? Or an sp.

Sorry I read micro in the title my bad, they look different to the diplogramma I've seen in the past.
Very nice.

Yeah a lot of diplogramma seem to look a bit more turquoise blue than the blue seen of mine. I’m guessing it’s just not at that color phase yet.
