are they really cichla intermedia?
i bought pair of these kind of cichla too
but when they reached 6-7cm, i saw 3 bars like temensis
the seller told me he imported the fish from tuic , but i think he lied to me

There not Intermedia but I have no Idea what your seller is talking about. These did not come from him at least mine did not. Yes I do believe there Tems.
I was asured these were Cichla Intermedia......I was also told a total of 100 went to the East with no complants yet, is that Indo.? I was also told that Co. from Canada has the same batch,but I just noticed he had Piquiti and Ocellaris ? All Im seeing is 3 bars @ 3-3.5" right now. I was told I need to wait 6 months to ID . True but not true to Id Intermedia. No disrespect to the vender. Sorry to cloud this post, Mike. Intermedia do come from lotic water, but are not Impossible to ship and not impossible to keep in captivity. Just check Utube. Do not give up on Royals guys!!! Thankyou
Borchbuild no problem at all. I think it is a healthy conversation and I will continue the updates of my pick up's. I will say this guy's and read and head warning! WE AS THE BUYER ARE AT THE SELLERS MERCY! You will only have 100% gurantee if you go to South America yourself and pick them up. I have an exrtodinary collection of CICHLIDS and CICHLA and to be honest this is all excess. I purchased this Cichla with the assumption that they were Intermedia and I made the mistake of doing that so please keep this civilized and cordial and please be respectful to all vendors and members. You paid for Cichla you got Cichla. Trust me I am mad as well just been here before and have done the anger thing it get's you no where fast.
no risk, no reward. you'd be just as mad if you didn't get them and they did turn out to be intermedia. haha. the hunt continues.
Not really....it was an educated purchase. The guys that have been in this hobby for awhile know that this comes with all rare purchases. I've spent a lot of extra money on common fish. I don't look back, i learn from it and move on.
Im coooool! Just state n what I was told......I am pissed @ the BOZOS in D.C running,I mean ruinning ,r economy though.....
