Not really....it was an educated purchase. The guys that have been in this hobby for awhile know that this comes with all rare purchases. I've spent a lot of extra money on common fish. I don't look back, i learn from it and move on.

Ohh of course I agree with you. But the value of the fish just went falling in a down wards spiral. People who bought these guys aren't going to get their moneys worth from them, but hey we all love cichla so its not that disappointing

Ummm expensive NO. Rare wild caught Cichla YESSSSS! Oh man keep movin keep movin it's life! I agree Ado. If money is the issue then this is the wrong hobby for you. At the level of the playing field here on MFK I think we paid a more then fair and really average price for W/C cichla.

I disagree completely. I will not talk about money and Cichla but I see no problem there. They will still hold there fair market value if it's healthy/sellable/ and desirable. There still Cichla! How many grown cichla do we see here everyday? And for that matter Cichlids period. I have other species and this is the same conversation. You can never tell a man what he would pay for his dreams. There his dreams and his money.

There not Intermedia but I have no Idea what your seller is talking about. These did not come from him at least mine did not. Yes I do believe there Tems.

I was asured these were Cichla Intermedia......I was also told a total of 100 went to the East with no complants yet, is that Indo.? I was also told that Co. from Canada has the same batch,but I just noticed he had Piquiti and Ocellaris ? All Im seeing is 3 bars @ 3-3.5" right now. I was told I need to wait 6 months to ID . True but not true to Id Intermedia. No disrespect to the vender. Sorry to cloud this post, Mike. Intermedia do come from lotic water, but are not Impossible to ship and not impossible to keep in captivity. Just check Utube. Do not give up on Royals guys!!! Thankyou

recently i knew that the fish bought from a lfs in singapore, not from tuic

i don't mind buying wrong species, but at least be honest about the fish origin

feel so upset till now , because buying some crap

So true......I think a lot of people do not have dreams or big enough dream to push themselves to live life to the fullest. So easy to stand on the side lines cheering or throwing stones.

Yaaa! Life is too short sooo..........LOl! How Big r everybodies Crazy little Wild Cichla?? Mine r a little small... My excuse ? I got the last 3,u guys got a head start on me....haha. There 3 3/4-4 1/4" with a very dark lateral line with 3 faint verticals.....alittle squiggly and alittle skinny. Nothing like Monos ,Orinos or Kelberi. Also the "Peacock spot" on the tail is just barely come n thru on one, taken a long time..........R we still on with WILD Temensis esssss ? Thanks G

That is very true. This is why I snowboard every day in the winter and fish my arse off
