I bought them last year on late June when they are 2". It took about 3.5 months for them to reach to 18" and the growth rate slowed down. Now they are 20", but I think they are still growing.

thats a nice variant (any idea of where they where caught ? or what area they are from ?) , never seen them with the blue stripe before into adulthood they look really nice , most loose the blue as they develop , mine is around 7" and lost all blue allready , yours seams to be getting more blue as it gets older

Not sure where they were caught. I just bought them from aquashop bonito.

These are the pics at their site, but not the actual fish that I have but look very similar when I first got them at 2". It was sold to me as Channa Marulioides "BLUE BELLY". They actually changed into 3 stages of color changed.
