~ Just incredible. The best tank I have scene since R1's.

:iagree:

its pretty sad when you have sooo much blue that the RED fins stick out more than the blue ones!!! Great looking tank!

Just curious, do all orinos color up that nice?

thx! with the orinos its hit or miss really. some color up more than others, with different shades of green to yellow. and not all get the bright blue mohawk. its pretty much due to individual variations. you just gotta get lucky.

ive gotten rid of all the original orinos i started with as ive found some that look even better. ive noticed that the orinos with the blue/gold lower fins have the amazing metallic green color, and those with red lower fins seem a little more drab, and are an olive green color.

also, depends on quality and genetics. the bigger and older orinos are amazing. some of the younger guys that have been bred domestically dont really have the crazy colors and dark patterns. this is just all my opinions though :)

absolutely awesome. I think you need a nice big cat for that tank.. or a ray.

i'm in CA, no rays for me. at least that i can share lol :naughty:

AMAZING. Im wanting to pick up a few orinos. Whats the average price on them, I saw some at a LFS the other week for $7 a piece. I thought that was pretty good.

here's what i mean about the red fin vs blue/gold fin orinos. notice the difference in the metallic sheen of the blue/gold fin type? the red fin type are a flat drab green color. i currently only have one left of the red fin type, im hooked on the blue/gold fin ones! the red fin type is what you commonly see around these days...
