CA show tank (newupdate)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Very Nice Tank! I like the natural look.

Just thought i'd post a few more shots, these are my A Multispinosa. I think these are a great little CA Cichlid, very underated. They show lovely yellow jackets when spawning, peaceful and ideal for smaller tanks.

Spotted silver dollers, always on the move. This is another tank i set up, it's a juwel rio 300. I wasn't happy with the lighting before, i just think the juwel lighting was too bright. I replaced it with a single white light, i think it gives it a more natural look. It's home to a pair of cryptoheros nanolutues and a shoal of platties. Thanks for looking , nutty.

I like the multispinosas. Are you sure that arcocentrus are the correct genus? I might be wrong but I thought that it would be cryptoheros multispinosa. anyway.. great tank and fish! Good job!

My understanding is that they've never been in cryptoheros, They were in herotilapia, but i think have been re classed to archocentrus. Rapps has them as archocentrus, his pretty up to date on re named species. Thanks for the comments.

it has been said already Nutty - but amazing tank, and the fish all look healthy and happy - all that we can wish for as fishkeepers!!
