Sorry i missed your post earlier. Should be no problem with the wood, i wouldn't put it in straight away, i would make sure the wood is dead first. Once prepared you'll probley have to fix it down with silicone or weights, as it will float for a time. Cheers nutty.south coast nelly;1792549; said:

Nutty, this tank is my inspiration! This is what I've imagined in my mind that I wanted a SA/CA tank to look like! I'm ordering a few tanks and I will attempt to duplicate your aquascape (hard to do.... ). So thank you for posting this.... it is truly one of the best tanks on this site!
