Caimen

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You may be able to keep a large constricter in with the caimen ? not really sure though.
You know, a snake thats as big or bigger than the caimen, I dont know if a caimen would bother something it couldn't make a meal out of, never kept one.

Some large constrictors eat caimens.

No!! Turts is your only option. Anoles if the caiman is large enough, would work.

Yeah I was thinking about a constricted to but you never know which one could kill who, and with that you talking about a lot more money than some cheap anoles or iguana, depending if you out a real cool constricted in there, but would look awesome

It was suggested to me, and one day I will try it, to try an arboreal boa. Something very small, and cheap. I will likely not add them until Den 2.0 which will be a few years.

If you did your homework, you would know that Boas do eat caimans.

So, you're planning on keeping one even though they are banned ? Smart.

I understand wanting to use this community but you should of honestly just used google and typed in a sentence or less worth of words to find out. And the only reason I say that is because 1. The person is probably just going to google it and tell you 2. State laws change and you want to verify it yourself just to be sure.

Pretty sure he's talking to you boogeyman since you're in illinois where they pretty much just declared the whole exotic pet business illegal.

pertinent part being close to the top

"(16) All members of the order Crocodilia, such as crocodiles, alligators, caimans, and gavials; members of the Varanidae family, such as Nile, water, and crocodile monitors as well as Komodo dragons."

"I don't care if they got eaten"

Wow, you sure love animal welfare.

I had pretty much the same mind set for my anoles. When you cohab with Caiman, its a risk you have to accept.

Yes a trip I don't know if you've ever watched animal planet but that's what animals do they eat other animals, I'm sorry that animals offend you
