However i have done some reaserch on the smaller species that only reach about 4-6'. I just had an i dea of doing a mini amazon them tank, with a little caimen baby and some fish with a tree top cover sorta thing above the tank with some tree python or vipers.

you can't do a "mini tank" with a 6' reptile.lol
yeah they're small compared to alligators..but still a 6' caiman is huge if you look at them in person..
they're not skinny twigs..they're fat and 6'..think that way.
imagine the WEEKLY(not monthly) food bill..

Not to mention the massive cost of simply housing the thing, then you have electric bills. They live 50 years, man.

well in the begging i was talking about basically hatchlings, but yeah i know they get big seen them at zoos before
:D

So you know how big they get? It's starting to sound like you wanted to get one, then try and dump it off somewhere once it gets too big for you to handle. Such is the fate of many unfortunate reptiles.

So you're 17...you plan on staying with your parent's for a while or what. I know I wouldn't want to move a 750g tank.

Wait till after college, my friend. TRUST ME, I know from experience.

Wait, loco...aren't you 15 or something? What experience are you even talking about?

My friends experience, not mine. I had to watch him lose about 20 animals because he couldnt handle them. He's a wreck. He lost his first herp, a dwarf caiman, after a cold spell and a power outage. I dont even know how many herps hes gone through, its probably in the 30's. Kinda like a certain large_cichlids...

first off all i would never dump anything that i couldnt take care of nor would i get anything that i could house for the rest of its life and take care of. second you most likley didnt read through this whole thread. The question i originally asked was, would a 8-14" caimen be allright in a 750? not an adult caimen!!!:irked: If i had a caimen he would have a really good home, not the best but he would have my whole backyard if that was the case. but its not, so please dont accuse me of not being able to take car of animals that i own and especially of dumping animals i cant take care of!!
thank you.
