Cajun Oscar

This is what I woke up too this morning:

Damn thing ate the tail and is swimming around, sucking on what's left of the head. I'd've given him some hot sauce, if he asked. I kinda assumed (wrongfully) that with its armor, a crawfish would've been safe. He lasted about a month. Next time I go to a crawfish festival in Louisiana, I think I'll bring Oscar with me!

That must have been soem crawfish. When I dropped them into my tank they disappeard in a day or so.

won't eat shrimp pellets...

My Midas Devil loves shrimp pellets. He gobbles as many as he can when I drop them in. None of the other fish usually get very many. Except for the convicts.

I still have one living in there. he only comes out of his cave when the lights are out. when they come on, he barely makes it back alive. his days are numbered.

IN my tank its all my convicts seem to like them. It even appears to me that the females will snag one as it drops and bring it over to where the fry are so they can get their swerve on with it as well.
