I'm probably just crazy but just noticed that a site I go very often is using a banner picture that looks very much like a picture I took.


Here's banner picture. Alot of the details look very much like mines just that the top of tail is added.

Looks spot-on to me. That must really suck... or is it flattering? LOL I'm not sure, but I think I would be mad to not be credited, at least. I know, it's the internet, but still, it's your art (and probably your fish!).

just like a deja vu that required an expert :)


everything looks so freakish the same to me I would have accused the owner outright but looking closely- look at its eye- its different. yours is more slanted than its fish the iris/pupil isn't the same, the patterning above the eye isn't the same his has more slight patterning whereas yours doesn't above left side of the eye

maybe this was doctored in some way maybe it was just the classic fin movement of the fish that likes to move its fin that way too often to take a pix of

but aren't patterns supposed to be little bit unique for each individual like a fingerprint?


I'm not into africans so i have no idea what cichlid this is to start with
