I am buddy's with a few other MFKs from Fresno. And I can't do group orders with you guys, still too far. There isn't enough dedication or 'true' hobbyist in Central Valley. My definition of a 'true' hobbyist is one that is willing to spend at least $100 on fish. Most people in Fresno think any fish priced over $20 is WAY overpriced...but 80-90% of Central Valley is considered lower class.

lol 100$

Dude speak for your self, maybe no one wants to buy a $100 dollars worth of commonly found cichlids. If that's your thing then more power to you. Do not judge other people by your standards; in my standards if the fish is under $100 is not worth looking into. But that's my standards and I will not judge you for your choice of specimens.

559 here BTW

well i dont have a job and im a teen so i cant spend $100 on a fish well i can spend up to only $60 on a fish , but i am only willing to spend $250 if its a sting ray , but for cichlids they are not worth $100 because they are common

Spending $60 on a fish when you are a teen is quite a bit. ;) Keep up the fish keeping buddy.

I'm in the same boat as you are, teen, no job.... it sucks, but I'm gettin a decent amount of cash soon so I'll probably end up spending over 60$ on a fancy pleco

yeah i know its alot but its what you gotta do for a rare fish, the most i spent on 1 single fish was a florida gar for $45,

also cmsbthebest you should when you see rare fish at the your lfs buy them, and grow them out a liitle bit, and sell them for more , thats how i make my money , like i bought wild caught festae from my lfs at $9 each and let them grow for 2 weeks and sold them for $22 each i made a huge profit, i consider my fish a hobby and investments

That's a good idea, but I'd need the funds to buy the fish in the first place, my parents don't support me one bit because they wanna teach me responsibility, so I have to make all my own cash, so I usually don't have enough money to buy any fish in the first place :(. I'm kinda doing that with my tin foil barbs though, bought them for 1$ each, trying to get 4$'s worth of credit for each of them at my LFS
