yeah really but i've seen gaboon vipers there awsome have you seen the fangs on those wicked but i wouldn't really suggest a poisonous snake or anything to a kid we all like to hold our pet snakes or what ever unless its my friends evil tokay geckodavo;959114; said:While there are snakes that people would consider more starter, I think it is easier to do it the other way around and work out which would be the worse of the hots to start with. I don't think a puff nor gaboon/vipers would be a particularly good starter, they can be pissy, heavily bodied not great hookers. Then there are fast snakes like the mambas. I think cobras are pretty poor choice too.
REALLY you should see what kind of anti venom your hospital has get a snake they have plenty of that stuff for you don't wan't to have to get flown in a hilocopter out of state to some place that can save you sounds fun except the bite part right we'll its not cheap at all to say the least
BUTTTTTTTTTTTTT i have to say i understand the urge to get one my uncle has a pet viper that is awsome its green with orange and yellow and its cool to watch it eat mice but it doesn't do much at all dureing the day but still cool
