Question to you have you heard or is there such a thing as brown Severums???? I have three in my tank I purchased at my LFS and they sold them as Brown Sev's... not green!!! also they had a 6" Brown Sev there one time..selling for $50.00 told me some guy has a pair and breeds them... they look like Sevs but with a chocolate cichlid color... is it possible?? or a hybrid...

LOL...black????? hummm...never saw one b4...yea i'll try to get a pic.. there still young though not showing much color expect the usual grey brown...BUT when I purchase them as frys.. 1" or so..they never had the vertical strips.. not like the green, rotkials..or my notatus frys.....

I read that the red severum is actually a gold severum with hormones.
Is that true?
Do They lose their color?
Did Someone has breed it?
