Mine is right at 7". Next week I am taking in 4 more roughly the same size, one of which is a Rotkeil as well as a breeding pair of green and a female Hoplarchus Psittacus.
The new guys are still settling but here's a quick shot I grabbed of one of my little F1 notatus tonight. I love how bulky this guy is starting to get. I think they're going to be nice, chunky fish.
Also, I've had a severum spawn in one of my quarantine tanks.
I bought a male green last week and within a few days he'd paired with a fish that I didn't even realize was female. A few months ago I bought an H. severus from Joel/Sencion88 and he included a smaller severum in the box. I have no idea what kind of severum it is and Joel wasn't really sure either. It's always solid grey with no spots or stripes. It has a blueish hue to the face. She is quite small and doesn't have the best body shape, but apparently the male green liked her well enough.
They laid eggs on top of a pleco cave and then the wigglers disappeared about an hour after they hatched. I assumed the other fish in the tank grabbed them up, but tonight the free-swimmers appeared out of the mouth of the pleco cave. The adults can't even fit in the cave opening, but as you can see in this video, they pick them up and spit them back into the cave. Clever.

unfortunately these are not mine, but hopefully i will be taking delivery of some of their babies this week in which case i would be extremely happy as i think theyre one of the nicest looking pairs ive ever seen!
This rotkeil has been in the tank less than 2 hours but I had to take at least a couple pictures before I put the lights out. Colors are still pretty stressed and my camera sucks. **huge thanks** to "fallin49er" for turning over the stock in his 125g severum tank to me. They are in good hands Damien.
