  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
So, finished with the treatment and water change on thursday 12/3. No worms hanging from the chocolate and all the fish are active. So far everyone except the severum, chocolate and blood parrot are eating. I have tried frozen, pellets soaked in garlic and fresh shrimp. They were eating fine before the treatment. Anyone with some thoughts or suggestions?
Maybe some live e-worms, live black works or bloodworms and try waiting it out and hope they are unsettled if need be.

Had no interest in bloodworm or brine shrimp will get some earthworms tomorrow. They act like they are hungry but wont take anything. They were ravenous pigs before, im stumped.

Happens with meds on occasion. Can stress out fish.

Yep ^^^^ that. My experience was slightly lethargic fish that were not eating for a few days. As soon as everyone's bellies felt better, it was back to business as usual.

How many treatments did you do? How far apart? It typically takes 2 treatments, at least 2 weeks apart due to lifecycle, no more than 3 weeks apart.

Glad they’re all okay, all my fish stopped eating for roughly 3 days after treatment, and began eating after I did a water change after the first day. I did notice that when I didnt water change one of my tanks for 3 days after levamisole treatment, the fish still had no appetite until I water changed out some the remaining levamisole. Oddly enough my datnoid finally started becoming stable all the time after treatment.

Finally the blood parrot and chocolate are sorta eating. The severum is still being very finnicky. They are definitly not back to what they were before. Did a water change yesterday and fed live earthworms. The chocolate and parrot ate and the severum maybe ate a piece. Next treatment will be next tues and not looking forward to it, really worried about the severum.

Its been a couple weeks and did the treatment yesterday, water change today and one more dose. This has been hard on the severum, he eats just enough i think to live. I am thankful that i havent lost any fish and every one tolerated this treatment fairly well except the severum. Hoping with completion of this he will bounce back to his old self.
