  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Not to be picky but it wasn't chevy doing anything, GM decided to reduce the number of different engines they were producing and chose to put chevy engines in everything. They still do the same today

yes that's correct. That really never bothered me, I see it more convenient, as GM does.

Back then Chevrolet was putting their motors in Buicks and Oldsmobiles also.

They were putting different engines in everything... The TA had a olds 6.6L 403 in it at one time... There was a law suit about them doing that. people were pissed when they opened their hood and seen a buick 231 3.8L in their 81 cutlass...lol My mothers Chrysler Sebring Convertible has a 2.5L Mitsubishi in it imagine my face when I popped the hood 😵

The Dodge Stealth and Mutsubishi 3000GT were very similar and shared parts.

who wants a daily driver without any sound deadening material, track slicks, no AC and no radio? that's hardcore stuff. read about another car they deleted that stuff from, a Lamborghini sesto elemento and it saved 750 lbs... from a 2950 pound superlight version already. yes the lambo has extensive use of carbon and taken a bit more extreme, but it is also more powerful and still AWD. just think sometimes the powers that be need to stop and think about what they are doing sometimes.
The 2013 Boss 302 mustang was the same way, people liked that........... The lambo is also a 2.2 million dollar car that is not and never will be street legal. I don't have a/c in my vehicle and its manageable, many cars didn't in retro. Although i do feel like the new camaro is kinda crappy, I have not drove one, but thats not why you buy a muscle car you drive for looks and that hand numbing feel!

My coworker has a boss 302 and it most definitely came with air conditioning and a radio. I doubt you could sell any car without ac in the south. Ill agree the camaro didnt change hardly at all from early prototypes and concepts so it looks great, but most companies that intend on selling cars and turning a profit ultimately change their concept to make it more usable for daily activities. Ever look at resale value on the camaro? Its horrible, ive personally taken in 5 on trade from people who bought on looks and Didnt like it after a few months

A camaro firebreather was parked in front of Oakland University the other day.
